John Arthur Moseley

...was born and raised along the coast of California being surrounded by nature in his native state. He spent his early childhood among the redwood forests of the Santa Cruz Mountains before moving to the coastal town of Encinitas as a teenager which began a lifelong love affair with the ocean.

"People often ask me how long I've been an artist, and my answer is that I've always been an artist, my earliest memories are of me painting both the world I saw around me and scenes from my imagination... and I knew from childhood that's what I'd be doing with my life."

Largely a self-taught artist, John's talent and natural gift were recognized at an early age and nurtured through a lifetime of practice and study. The list is long but among the artists he has learned from and painted with are John Ratajakowski, Joe Soza, Vanessa Lemen, Ken Auster in the US... portrait and figure painter Rebecca Harp in Florence, Italy... and landscape painter Robert Ricard in Paris, France.

A student of art history John has traveled extensively to visit where past great artists such as Michaelangelo, Leonardo Da Vinci and Vincent Van Gogh have lived and painted and personally viewed as many of their original works as possible.

John's intention is to inspire and touch as many peoples lives as possible with his art and is in collections, sanctuaries and healing centers around the world.. including Ghana, Africa to Argentina, Columbia and Costa Rica, across Europe, Australia, New Zealand, Canada and the United States.
